NJ Dept. of Labor & Workforce Development One Stop Employer Services - The Mercer Business Resource Center helps Chamber employers recruit qualified staff by conducting applicant search and referrals, and/or applicant recruitment (job Fairs) at the employer location or at the One Stop office, 26 Yard Ave. Trenton. It provides FREE (or low cost) business solutions for Chamber members. The Center staff will help employers address their workforce development needs, such as:

  • Finding qualified employees
  • Labor market trends, loan programs, and employee training information
  • Human Resource training, and employer seminars
  • Business development resources (access to State resources on permits, labor law, taxation, etc.)

Mercer County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) - Mission: To develop, through public/private partnerships, a quality workforce, which successfully meets employers' hiring needs and ensures the employment and advancement of jobseekers. WIB, formerly the Private Industry Council (PIC), is playing a major role in shaping tomorrow's workforce. The MCWIB was the fourth to be certified in New Jersey. Through a dynamic public and private partnership, the WIB is helping to develop, maintain, and implement a quality workforce, which is consumer-based and labor-market driven.
