Diversity Council
Mission Statement:
To connect business people of all ethnic backgrounds with the opportunities and resources available through the Chamber and to assist the Chamber is growing its membership in ways that best reflect the diverse business community in the greater Mercer County region.
Projects: development of database of woman and minority owned businesses in order to share information and opportunities, host the Chamber’s Annual Diversity Luncheon in February, conduct networking programs such as “Meet the CDO (Chief Diversity Officer”), assist the Chamber in ensuring that diversity is in the forefront when planning Chamber programs and encourage Chamber committees and Chapters to discuss diversity initiatives within their programs and meetings.
