Published continuously since 1924 by the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, Mercer Business is mailed monthly to 8,500 corporate decision makers in the Trenton-Princeton region. With an additional distribution to area hotels and the local airport, plus pass along figures, the total circulation is nearly 30,000. Mercer Business is a vital source of business news and information, which promotes economic development in the Greater Mercer County region.The magazine's mission statement encapsulates the Chamber's tagline,"Get Connected. Get Results." The publication supports the Chamber's various programs and initiatives and helps to promote its membership and the business community. Along with perennially popular regular monthly features such as People in Business, Business Talk, Chamber Events and Ask a Busy Person, the magazine is comprised of theme-based and timely articles of import to the business community with a local angle. Annually, Mercer Business publishes Discover The Best of Mercer - Tourism and Relocation Guide as a supplement to the May issue. It highlights the region's historic and cultural sites, entertainment venues, restaurants, municipal and county government information, lodging and calendar of events to encourage visitors, businesses, and new residents to enjoy Mercer's many attractions. The total circulation of the pocket-sized guide is 45,000, which is also distributed in local hotels, at area national events, realtors' offices, and in numerous visitors' centers throughout the state. In addition, Mercer Business will produce the Small Business Resource Guide in the fall of 2008, which provides small businesses important information at their fingertips; including training centers, Start-Up information, governmental and other potential investment and capital resources. July 2008 will see the second edition of Bridges to Mercer Business, a high quality full-color and full-sized advertorial insert to the magazine which provides a limited-space opportunity for businesses to showcase their company. Additional copies are provided at no extra charge, in addition to a pdf to use as a marketing tool. Reserve your space early, as the book sold out quickly in its inaugural printing. Mercer Business Magazine also publishes the Chamber Membership Directory. The Directory lists each member company alphabetically, for quick reference to the company's listing which is presented by business category. The listing contains Company Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Website, E-Mail, Personnel and Title. The Directory issue also contains a special section known as the Fact Book. It is a county and municipal data guide, which highlights such information as population, property taxes, largest employers, government officials and new developments. There are additional copies of the 32-page Fact Book, which are distributed throughout the year by the Mercer County Division of Economic Development, the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce and Mercer County Association of Realtors for individuals or corporations looking to relocate to Mercer County. Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce members receive the Membership Directory & Fact Book in the mail, free of charge each year. New Chamber Members receive the Directory as part of their introduction package. Mercer Business Magazine has won six national awards, including a national Grand Award, from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives' Communications Council, Washington DC.
