Located midway between New York City and Philadelphia, Mercer County features many business and personal attractions that are easy to get to using New Jersey Transit and Amtrak.

Trenton is the New Jersey State Capital.  Historic Trenton is home to the War Memorial, the Battle Monument, the Old Barracks Museum, and the William Trent House. View other places to visit.

There are games and other events at Sovereign Bank Arena and Waterfront Park. Princeton has many museums and cultural offerings such as the award winning McCarter Theater. Mercer County Park offers a boat marina on Lake Mercer, tennis courts, ice skating, roller blading and jogging. Located in Hamilton township is Grounds For Sculpture. This not-for-profit opened in June 1992 as a public 22-acre landscaped park. It includes two 10,000 square foot museum facilities and has several restaurants on site. See more places to dine in Mercer County.
